An der Adresse Ransberg 37 wird durch den Kreis Viersen das Schulgebäude des Förderzentrums West errichtet. Bestandteil des Neubaus ist ebenfalls der Ausbau der AV-Kommunikationsanlagen (kurz: Medientechnik). Im Förderzentrum werden 20 Klassenräume, ein teilbarer Multifuktionsraum und Informationsdisplays verbaut. Alle Räume sollen mit zukunftsfähiger Bild- und Tontechnik, ergonomischer Steuerung und einer hochwertigen hybriden Videokonferenztechnik ausgestattet werden.
