Rijksvastgoedbedrijf awarded Hanab Distribution B.V. a contract valued at €11,450,000 on 4 May 2026 to renew the medium-voltage electrical network at Eindhoven Air Base. The scope includes laying approximately 14 km of new medium-voltage cables and removing 12 km of existing cables, installing a new transformer station and relocating another, replacing switchgear and distribution equipment, upgrading lighting to LED in all 18 transformer stations, installing 9 ground cabinets on the aircraft platform with electrical connections, and laying approximately 23 km of fiber-optic conduits. The work is complete and encompasses electrical and infrastructure works at the medium-voltage installation.
