Neuerstellung der EMSR-Technik in der Gebläsehalle 2 (GBH 2) auf der Kläranlage Mönchengladbach-Neuwerk

Niersverband awarded EUR 3,067,808.15 to Vortmann GmbH on 1 June 2026 for the reconstruction of EMSR (instrumentation and control) technology in Blower Hall 2 at the Mönchengladbach-Neuwerk wastewater treatment plant. The work encompasses installation of eight turbine compressors in separate fire compartments, two backup power stations, transformer station 4 with transformers and low-voltage distribution equipment, active harmonic filters, automation systems integrating into the existing PCS 7 control system, and electrical building infrastructure including lighting and outlets. The project ensures redundancy for the biological treatment process and is now complete.
