Stad Roeselare procured the delivery of prepared, sustainable and healthy school meals for all schooldays to its municipal primary schools for the period 2026–2030, serving toddlers (ages 2.5–6), pupils (ages 6–12), and staff. The contract, awarded to COMPASS Group Belgium nv on 15 June 2026 for €1,397,579.20, requires meals prepared with sustainably sourced fish, seasonal vegetables, fair-trade and organic products, reduced meat and plant-based options, and adherence to waste reduction and sustainable transport practices.
