81310249-Third-Party-Monitoring Services for GIZ Sudan
- Published
- Published 11 April 2025
Overview
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH implements international development projects on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Sudan. The present portfolio includes projects on the thematic areas: Women economic empowerment, Structural strengthening of employment promotion and vocational training and apprenticeship, Prevention of female genital mutilation and other related forms of gender-based violence, good (local) governance and renewable energy promotion.
Due to the volatile security situation associated with the ongoing violent conflict, GIZ had to temporarily close its offices inside Sudan. Currently the projects are managed remotely. In order to still maintain quality, accountability and steering capacity, the portfolio requires Third Party Monitoring (TPM), to be conducted by an external service provider.
