0286 Buddenbrookhaus, Erweiterung, Sanierung und Neubau

The City of Lübeck awarded a contract for the deconstruction and hazardous material removal of two existing buildings (Mengstrasse 4+6) in the inner city to facilitate the renovation and expansion of the Buddenbrookhaus. The scope includes removal of approximately 1,500 m² of hazardous insulation materials, 480 m² of contaminated floor coverings, 2,000 m² of interior cladding and wall/ceiling finishes, 1,700 m² of screeds and floor coverings, plus selective demolition of doors and building systems. Ten contractors were awarded shares of the contract for a total value of €249,208.37 on 18 May 2026.
