Sofia University "St. Clement of Ohrid" procured a software-as-a-service (SaaS) plagiarism detection solution to analyze academic documents and identify instances of unauthorized use of literary or scientific works in student assignments, dissertations, and faculty publications. The service is intended for approximately 27,500 users (25,000 students and doctoral candidates; 2,500 faculty members) with an expected annual volume of around 30,000 documents checked. The contract was awarded on 7 May 2026 with an estimated value of 150,000 EUR.
