Elkhovo Municipality procured engineering services (design, construction, and supervision) to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption in 12 multifamily residential buildings in Elkhovo under the Just Transition priority of the 2021-2027 Regional Development Program, with an estimated value of 4.48 million EUR. The contract, which was awarded on 20 May 2026, includes technical design, construction and installation works, and author supervision for each of the 12 designated sites. The works must comply with environmental sustainability principles and the EU do-no-significant-harm criteria under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.
