Die Arena ist Heimspielstätte der Herren des MSV Duisburg sowie des Footballvereins Rhein Fire. Neben dem Fußball-Stadion dient die Arena mit ihren Business-Bereichen, den VIP-Galerien und den 41 Logen auch als Location für Messen, Firmen-Veranstaltungen oder Feiern, beispielsweise für Geburtstage, Abitur- oder Weihnachtsfeiern. Außerdem verfügt das Stadion über Büro- und Verwaltungsräume.
