Overview
As part of the DTIF project Restoare a High Performance Liquid chromatography equipment including a Photodiode array detector is needed to purify the natural products isolated from marine organisms (also named semi preparative). Three main suppliers of HPLC were contacted and they provided quotations. Waters is known to provide excellent and very robust equipment and they made a 50% discount on their new system. While Shimadzu was slightly cheaper Waters was selected for this CAN due to the robustness of their equipment and also quality of software provided.
