Overview
Het realiseren van een dijkversterking en beekherstelopgave te Thorn/Wessem middels een twee-fasen aanpak light. Het VKA is op hoofdlijnen als volgt samen te vatten:
Circa 4,3 km. binnendijkse dijkversterking “reguliere” (groene dijk);
Circa 0,9 km. “vast harde kering” Maasboulevard;
Circa 2,7 km. (verholen) kering i.c.m. de A2 (gaten dichten of coupures);
Circa 3,6 km. aanleg nieuwe natuurbeek (25 meter breed);
Circa 3,3 km. dempen oude beekloop direct achter de bestaande dijk.
