L'opération s'étend sur 3,8 km et consiste à réaliser un aménagement dans le prolongement des sections actuelles à 2x2 voies de la RN44, depuis la fin de la déviation de Châlons-en-Champagne au Nord jusqu'à la déviation de Chepy mise en service en octobre 2018 (PR64+200 au PR68+000)
