Auf der Strecke 2400 Bahn-km 16,4 gab es einen Hangrutsch, der zum Stillstand der Strecke führte. Zum Wideraufbau der Strecke muss der Hang durch Netze, einer Gabionenwand und einer Bohrpfahlwand gesichert werden. Der gesamte Oberbau inkl. einer Weiche, der Neubau von Entwässerungsanlagen (im und außerhalb des Gleisbereiches) und die Neugründung des beschädigten Oberleitungsmastes sind Bestandteil dieser Maßnahme.
