Der VGI als Verkehrsverbund Großraum Ingolstadt deckt den Bereich der drei Landkreise Eichstätt, Neuburg-Schrobenhausen und Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm sowie der Stadt Ingolstadt ab. Der VGI ist ausschreibende Stelle für den Abschluss einer Rahmenvereinbarung über die Lieferung von ca. 2.100 Haltestellenausstattungen in Form von Haltestellenschildeinheiten bestehend aus Haltestellenmast, Bodenhülsen, Schild und Fahrplankästen. An ca. 50 Bestandsmasten sollen zudem jeweils zwei neue Haltestellenschilder angebracht werden.
