The Landratsamt Garmisch-Partenkirchen awarded garden and landscaping works for the general renovation of Zugspitzrealschule to Bauer GmbH for €949,244 on 30 April 2026. The project involves restoration and new construction of outdoor facilities covering approximately 2,900 square metres across three areas: a playground and adjacent zones with public pathways (2,000 qm), a sunken courtyard with school garden and outdoor classroom (600 qm), and a rear sports exit with terracing and access ramps (300 m), including drainage systems, paving, retaining structures, landscaping, and vegetation work, with completion required by 11 January 2027 for school reopening.
