Overview
Seit Sommer 2021 befindet sich die "Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt" auf der UNESCO-Welterbeliste. Der Magistrat der Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt beabsichtigt, für diese UNESCO-Welterbestätte die Freiflächen am Osthang neu zu gestalten. Die zu beplanende Fläche ist Teil der denkmalgeschützten Gesamtanlage Mathildenhöhe und gehört zum Teil zur UNESCO-Welterbestätte bzw. zu deren Pufferzone.
