Management of the European Citizens’ Initiative online collaborative platform (ECI Forum)

The main goal of the online collaborative platform (ECI Forum) is to help organisers of European citizens’ initiatives share information, views, and best practices, and to provide them with information and support for preparing and running European citizens’ initiatives. This platform allows citizens to share their experiences and expand their knowledge, which can improve the quality and impact of their initiatives. The ECI Forum offers a space where citizens can: • Get guidance, training, and learning materials (e.g. from the experience of experts and former organisers), • Receive free legal advice on their draft initiatives and practical advice for running a successful ECI (fundraising, campaigning across the EU, data protection, etc.), • Discuss and develop their initiatives, • Interact with other organisers, citizens, and experts. The platform aims to improve the quality of new citizens’ initiatives submitted to the Commission and help organisers run successful campaigns.
