Helsinki City District for Urban Environment has awarded a framework agreement worth 2 million EUR for planning and implementation services for public space experiments, running from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028 with two optional one-year extensions. The procurement, awarded on April 17, 2026 to 12 service providers including design and landscape architecture firms, is divided into three areas: resident-participation-based temporary furnishing design and implementation, temporary green infrastructure and services design and implementation, and participatory urban planning support through interaction, research, and monitoring activities.
