Industrial Carbon Management knowledge sharing platform

CINEA procured the establishment and operation of an open collaboration and knowledge-sharing platform for Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) projects in the EU, with an estimated value of €3 million. The platform collects and displays data on deployed technologies, storage site characteristics, best practices, barriers, success factors, regulatory aspects, and lessons learned from industrial-scale CCUS demonstration projects, accessible to industry stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and citizens. The contract was awarded on 5 May 2026 to a consortium comprising Prognos Europe GmbH, SINTEF ENERGI AS, TNO, and ZEP-C for €2,879,181.42.
