The State Forests National Forest District Lubliniec procured design documentation and construction of 28 weirs with permanent water retention up to 1 metre height, each equipped with fish passes to enable aquatic organism migration, across approximately 12 km of drainage channels and natural watercourse beds in the Pawonków and Lubliniec municipalities. The project, awarded to Arkadiusz Sykoś, Drew–kos sp. z o.o., and Zakład Ogólnobudowlany Joś Maksymilian for 1,090,155.97 PLN (completed in May 2026), aims to improve soil moisture in forest areas and enhance biological diversity while retaining a minimum of 5,600 cubic metres of water. The scope includes all design and engineering documentation, regulatory approvals, and author's supervision throughout construction.
