The provision of ESB Communication Tower Compound Maintenance Weed Control services

The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) has awarded a framework agreement for weed control and maintenance services at approximately 330 tower sites nationwide, with up to three contractors admitted on a cascade basis. The contract, awarded on 9 June 2026, requires comprehensive vegetation management including de-vegetation, tree trimming, herbicide application, and access maintenance on a rotating 12-month schedule with varying visit frequencies (red sites: 3 visits, amber: 2 visits, green: 1 visit annually), plus reactive site visits for safety alerts.
