Das Klinikum Wolfsburg behandelt mit seinen rund 2.300 Mitarbeitenden in den 20 Kliniken und Instituten ca. 29.500 stationäre sowie 55.000 ambulante Fälle und verfügt über 547 Betten. Dabei leistet das Institut für Klinische Chemie, Laboratoriums- und Transfusionsmedizin mit seiner modernen Gerätetechnologie sowie einem umfangreichen Diagnostikspektrum rund um die Uhr einen entscheidenden Beitrag im Rahmen der Patientenversorgung. Das Labor ist außerdem nach der DIN EN ISO 15189 akkreditiert.
