Strecke 6118, Erneuerung Krbw Sandersleben km 162,270 und EÜ Wipper km 162,151

DB InfraGO AG has awarded Glass Ingenieurbau Leipzig GmbH a contract for the renewal of a rail crossing structure on route 6118 near Sandersleben, involving construction of a steel lattice bridge with deep foundations, demolition and reconstruction of the Wipper overpass, installation of approximately 560 metres of track with two switches, and associated earthworks. The project, which was completed on 2 June 2026, includes structural steel fabrication, corrosion protection, concrete work, pile driving, and removal of existing materials, with the buyer providing signalling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and rail materials.
