Errichtung eines Feuerwehrhauses in innovativer Holzbauweise

The Municipality of Wentorf bei Hamburg has completed the construction of a new fire station in innovative timber construction on Fritz-Sprecht-Weg 1, comprising approximately 3,200 m² of floor space across two storeys with a nine-storey training tower, vehicle halls for nine fire engines, wash facilities, training areas, workshops, and material storage. The project was awarded to Schnurpfeil Funk & Kommunikationstechnik GmbH for €136,339.60 on 22 June 2026 and was designed to meet sustainability standards and timber construction innovation goals including CO₂-neutral energy concepts and circular economy principles for timber component reuse.
