Overview
Die Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena beabsichtigt, einen Yb-basierten Femtose-kundenlaser (d.h. einen Femtosekundenlaser mit ca 1030 nm Wellenlänge) mit einer carrier-envelope- (CE-)Phasenstabilisierung auszurüsten/nachrüsten. Die mit dem La-sersystem geplanten Forschungsarbeiten beinhalten die Kompression der Pulse bis hinab zum Einzelzyklen- (few-cycle-)Bereich, so dass die CE-Phase von hoher Relevanz wird. Die Einzelzyklenpulse werden insbes. die Erzeugung eines kontinuierlichen Spek-trums Hoher Harmonischer für die ultraschnelle XUV-Bildgebung verwendet. Eine weitere Anwendung betrifft die Koinzidenz-Impulsspektroskopie mit Atomen, Ionen und Molekülen.
