Kolping-Schulwerk gGmbH Bamberg has awarded EGS-plan Ingenieurgesellschaft für Energie-, Gebäude- und Solartechnik mbH a contract to provide thermal building physics and building acoustics services (HOAI phases 3–7) for the construction of a new Adolph-Kolping vocational school in Bamberg. The project involves designing a new school building (approximately 9,900 m² gross floor area) and sports hall (approximately 615 m²) with a total estimated project cost of €54 million, with initial phases 3–4 commissioned and phases 5–7 to be called off in stages.
