KTB AU/ Projekt ESTW Hamm 2.BS (Holzwickede, Unna und Bönen)

DB InfraGO AG awarded a contract for extensive cable trenching works on the ESTW Hamm 2.BS project in Holzwickede, Unna, and Bönen, involving approximately 50 km of cable trays, 80 track crossings, and installation of modular buildings, signal foundations, and signaling/telecommunications infrastructure. The work, executed primarily during scheduled total closures until commissioning on 23 June 2028, was awarded to a consortium comprising Friedrich Duensing GmbH, HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH, Natrop und Jansen GmbH, and Peter Gross Rail GmbH & Co. KG. Execution planning forms part of the scope to ensure coordinated and efficient implementation on railway-owned land.
