Rhätische Bahn AG awarded swisspro AG a contract worth CHF 1,837,048 on 13 May 2026 for expansion and renovation of the Landquart thermal vehicle workshop, including construction of new halls and an underground level for the internal control room, alongside comprehensive electrical installations. The scope covers structural work (halls, basement, foundations) executed in parallel with ongoing operations while maintaining two usable tracks, and complete electrical systems including power distribution, LED lighting with KNX control, fire detection, smoke extraction, emergency lighting, and low-voltage installations per railway standards.
