В обектите на ЕСО ЕАД УМЕР Горна Оряховица се използват следните електрозащитни средства (ЕЗС), които подлежат на периодично изпитване:
-Диелектрични ръкавици;
-Диелектрични боти;
-Диелектрични галоши;
-Указатели за напрежение от 10 до 420 кV (контактни и безконтактни);
-Изолиращи щанги от 10 до 420 кV (манипулационни и за поставяне на преносими заземители).
Съгласно изискванията на Наредба №22 от 08.05.2006 г. за изпитване на електрозащитни средства в експлоатация, издадена от министъра на икономиката и енергетиката, обн., ДВ, бр. 45 от 2.06.2006 г., в сила от 3.09.2006 г. , електрозащитните средства трябва периодично да бъдат изпитвани.
