Errichtung eines Feuerwehrhauses in innovativer Holzbauweise

The Municipality of Wentorf bei Hamburg awarded the construction of a new fire station in innovative timber construction to BIT Bauwerkserhaltung GmbH for €50,103.52. The facility comprises approximately 3,200 m² of gross floor space across two stories, including a vehicle hall for nine fire engines, a wash hall, training and meeting areas for volunteer and youth fire departments, a material storage area, workshop space, and a nine-story practice tower, designed to meet sustainability standards and timber construction innovation goals including CO2-neutral energy concepts and circular economy principles for timber components.
