Overview
Sinds de invoering van de Wet Inburgering 2021 is de gemeente verantwoordelijk voor de maatschappelijke en juridische begeleiding van nieuwkomers. Deze begeleiding omvat:
- praktische hulp bij basisvoorzieningen;
- voorlichting over de Nederlandse samenleving;
- juridisch spreekuur en begeleiding.
Een grote groep inburgeraars uit Purmerend ontvangt zowel juridische als maatschappelijke begeleiding, die door de gemeente als één geheel wordt beschouwd. Daarmee telt de maatschappelijke begeleiding drie componenten. €275.000 per jaar. Maximale waarde van de opdracht over 3 jaar is €825.000.
