Die von der Firma Illumina Inc. produzierten Infinium Bead Chips erfüllen alle erforderliche Spezifikationen. Die Technologie ermöglicht eine genomweite DNA Methylierungsanalyse bei geringem Einsatz an DNA und liefert für bis zu > 1 Mio. CpG-Stellen im humanem Genom präzise Methylierungsmessungen in Einzelnukleotid-Auflösung.
