Municip­ality of Varna procured the purchase and warranty/service support of one new electric vehicle with an associated charging station, along with the installation and supply of the charging station, under Recovery and Resilience Facility project BG-RRP-13.009-0002. The procurement was divided into two separate positions, with only Position 1 (the vehicle and warranty services) open to competitive bidding; Position 2 (charging station installation) was awarded directly due to its value not exceeding the thresholds under Bulgarian public procurement law. The award was made on 26 May 2026.
