The Ministry of Defence has awarded a framework agreement for passenger air transport services on domestic and international routes to seven operators: BEST TRAVEL INTERNATIONAL, TAROM, OLIMPIC INTERNATIONAL TURISM, ROUND THE WORLD TRAVEL S.R.L., SC J'INFO TOURS SRL, TRAVEL TIME D&R S.R.L., and WECO TMC S.R.L. The framework, valued at 11,390.21 RON and effective for 48 months from December 4, 2025, will be used for subsequent call-offs where the lowest bidder wins contracts for specific routes, destinations, and travel conditions based on competitive re-tendering among the framework signatories.
