The State Building Authority Freising (Staatliches Bauamt Freising) is procuring planning and design services for the construction of a combined pedestrian and bicycle path along state road St 2054 between Aich, Babenried, and Jesenwang in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. The project was awarded to Steinbacher-Consult on 8 May 2026 and will be executed in phases, beginning with planning phases 1 and 2 to determine a preferred design variant, with subsequent options for phases 3–5 and 6–8. The scope includes design and engineering to create a safe, separated pedestrian and bicycle path that will complete a continuous cycling route network across the region.
