Overview
Las unidades ferroviarias y tranviarias, para mejorar la adherencia rueda carril en situaciones de
deslizamientos y embalamientos, utilizan arena (silicato de calcio) que inyectan sobre el carril en diferentes
puntos del contacto rueda carril. En la actualidad se está utilizando el silicato de calcio Prominent Grit
Medium-Fine, que es el producto de referencia. Se requiere el suministro del citado silicato de calcio o una
alternativa que deberá contar con la documentación acreditativa del cumplimento de las características
especificadas.
