The Municipal Waste Management Facility in Konin procured collection, transport, and recovery or disposal of post-process waste from its thermal waste treatment plant and mechanical waste processing facility, with an estimated volume of approximately 65,500 tonnes across five optional lots covering hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams including slag, fly ash, and used tyres. The contract was awarded on 8 May 2026 for 10,733,100 PLN to a consortium of five companies: MAKPOL RECYKLING Sp. z o.o., MAŁOPOLSKIE PRZEDSIĘBIORSTWO GOSPODARKI ODPADAMI Sp. z o.o., Recykl Organizacja Odzysku S.A., SYNERGIA POŁUDNIE Sp. z o.o., and their joint venture partner.
