Según traslada Isabel Fariñas Gómez, Catedràtica de Biologia Cel.lular, Biologia Funcional i Antropologia Fisica e investigadora responsable de esta adquisición, el equipamiento que se pretende adquirir tiene por objeto combinar la detección en tiempo real de parámetros espaciales a partir de imágenes microscópicas e incorporar óptica de citometría espectral, además el equipo complementará y ampliará las capacidades del Servicio Central de Soporte a la Investigación Experimental (SCSIE).
