Overview
In het project Gebiedsontwikkeling Groene Rivier Well gaan rivierverruiming, dijkversterking, beekherstel en gebiedsinrichting hand in hand. Tegelijkertijd met de rivierverruiming ontstaat een nieuw beekdal. De dijken komen landschappelijk en cultuurhistorisch gezien op de juiste plek en we maken ze, op gepaste wijze, hoger en sterker. De dorpen zijn daardoor beter beschermd en de Maas krijgt meer ruimte. Door maaiveldverlagingen en de aanleg van een brug met een grotere overspanning ontstaat een betere doorstroming. De scope, raakvlakken en randvoorwaarden van het project zijn uitgebreid beschreven in de vraagspecificatie.
