Overview
Die Deutsche Bundesbank nutzt derzeit ein voll vermaschtes, nationales Ethernet-Datennetz mit Layer2 Verschlüsselung. Aktuell wird das Datennetz von einem Provider betrieben, die zugehörige BSI-zugelassene Verschlüsselung betreibt der Kunde selbst auf eigenem Equipment. Der Auftragnehmer hat die Aufgabe die Standorte der Deutschen Bundesbank zukünftig nach deren Vorgaben jeweils mit zwei aktiven Netzen redundant anzubinden und zu betreiben. Die Standorte werden sowohl über das MEF-ELAN als auch über Punkt-zu-Punkt Verbindungen (MEF EPL) angebunden.
