FE 03.0631/2022/IRB – „Simulation und Vorbereitung eines Pilotvorhabens für innovative SBA-Strategien zur Stauvermeidung und -reduktion“

The Federal Institute for Roads and Transport (Bundesanstalt für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen) commissioned Yunex GmbH to simulate and prepare a pilot project for innovative congestion avoidance and reduction strategies using new control algorithms integrated into traffic management systems on a motorway section near Hamburg. The project, awarded on 15 May 2026, aims to bridge the gap between theoretical research development and real-world application by investigating complex interactions between new control procedures, existing infrastructure structures, and multiple traffic states to assess the feasibility and performance impact of these innovations.
