Der Rat der Stadt Bergkamen hat beschlossen, im Rahmen des Integrierten städte-baulichen Entwicklungskonzeptes "Revitalisierung Rathausquartier" eine Fuß- und Radwegeverbindung in Ost-West-Richtung mit perlenartig angeordneten Plätzen zwischen dem Platz der Partnerstädte an der Töddinghauser Straße und dem Lüttke Holz an der Gedächtnisstraße zu errichten.
Der Weg endet im Waldgebiet "Lüttke Holz" in Form einer kombinierten Treppen- / Rampenanlage, die den Charakter eines Walderlebnispfades erhalten soll.
