The German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) awarded a contract to Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH for comprehensive audit reporting on research grants disbursed to commercial enterprises. The work involves verifying that costs claimed by grant recipients in their use-of-funds reports comply with the Guidelines for Price Determination Based on Self-Costs (PreisLS), including review of relevant accounting records and internal cost allocation methods to validate allowable overhead rates. The contract was awarded on 1 June 2026 for €1,281,644.04 and is now complete.
