Newtown Bridge - Balheary Road Active Travel Scheme Comprising The proposed works include the construction of new pedestrian and cycle facilities, a signalised pedestrian crossing, ramped access into linear parks, a new signalised one way traffic shuttle, resurfacing and regrading of approximately 350m of carriageway, upgrade of an existing junctions and tie-ins to the existing public road, landscaping and ancillary works. The scope of the project includes the construction of all associated services installations including drainage, utility ducting, traffic signals, spare ducting, public lighting and service diversions.
