Kreisverwaltung Neuwied has awarded Ing.-Büro Funk GmbH & Co. KG (on 20 May 2026) specialist electrical planning services for fire protection renovation and a new classroom wing extension at Heinrich-Heine-Realschule plus in Neuwied. The scope includes coordination of electrical design for fire safety upgrades across existing building parts, a two-storey extension (approximately 390–400 m² usable floor area), barrier-free access improvements including a lift system, and integration of emergency lighting as part of the comprehensive modernisation and safety enhancement of the school facility.
