Im internationalen Personenverkehr bietet die SBB Zugreisen mit einem hohen Fahrkomfort zu einer Vielzahl europäischer Städte an. Das Fahrerlebnis im internationalen Personenverkehr wird durch ein Gratis-WLAN-Angebot zusätzlich erhöht. Zur Modernisierung der WLAN-Ausrüstung wird die Hard- und Software auf den neusten Stand der Technik gebracht mit dem Ziel, den Passagieren eine grenzüberschreitende, einwandfreie und zuverlässige Nutzung des WLAN zu ermöglichen.
Die Ersatzbeschaffung umfasst sämtliche Leistungen, die für einen betriebsbereiten, funktions- und leistungsfähigen WLAN-Service nötig sind.
