Baumdienst Holz & Grün Skibba GmbH has been awarded a contract to carry out inspection and crown care work on approximately 1,977 trees along overhead power lines in Essen, including special monitoring of 271 plane trees for Massaria disease over four cycles spanning September 2026 to April 2029. The scope includes regular special inspections of plane trees every eight months, crown maintenance on all trees during each cycle, approximately 30 emergency interventions per year, and around 30 tree removals over the contract period, with work scheduled primarily on weekends and at night during rail system downtime.
