The Syndicat intercommunal d'énergies de Maine-et-Loire (Siéml) awarded a framework agreement for the supply and distribution of electricity and natural gas, along with associated services, to consumption sites in Maine-et-Loire department across segments C2–C5 for electricity and T1–T3 for gas. The contract, valued at €38,883,237.94 and awarded on 2 March 2026, was divided into multiple lots and awarded to 18 energy suppliers including EDF, ENGIE, TOTAL ENERGIES, and others, with services including energy supply and network access through unified contracts where direct grid connection contracts do not exist.
