The City of Gdańsk's Development Authority awarded WPRD Gravel Sp. z o.o. a contract valued at 3,043,890.01 PLN on 10 June 2026 for the adaptation of a building at ul. Kartuska 32/34 in Gdańsk to house the Gdańsk Centre for Services (GCŚ), including sustainable stormwater management infrastructure, technical systems, and site development. The scope encompasses demolition and preparatory works, construction of rain gardens, a retention tank and pump station, stormwater drainage network, road and parking layout, street lighting, fencing, landscaping, and ancillary works, with the objective of improving functionality, safety, and ecological resilience through nature-based solutions. The project is co-financed by the EU Cohesion Fund under the 2021–2027 FNIRSI programme as part of the 'Sustainable Stormwater Management Systems in Gdańsk' initiative.
