The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Metal Science, Equipment and Technologies is procuring the design, construction, and commissioning of a subsonic open-type aerodynamic wind tunnel with maximum dimensions of 22 m length, 5.3 m width, and 3.8 m height, to be installed in a 30 m × 18 m × 5 m facility. The contractor must complete design phase work including foundation support location determination and detailed construction preparation instructions, and the contract was awarded to 4Jtech s.r.o. on 18 June 2026 for EUR 385,000.
